This blog is about the Edith Bowen Laboratory School VEX IQ Challenge teams participating in the 2014-2015 school year.

EBLS

Edith Bowen Laboratory School (EBLS) is on the Utah State University campus in Logan, Utah.

VEX IQ

VEX IQ is an educational robotics platform using plastic snap-together structural components, a computer control unit (the "brain"), up to 12 smart devices, and the signature VEX wireless controller for driver mode in addition to the autonomous mode. The CPU can be programmed in a variety of languages including the Scratch-like Modkit and RobotC

The VEX IQ Challenge is a cooperative team event. This year's challenge is called Highrise Like other robotics competitions, events can be found listed at RobotEvents.com.

Student Expectations

As a result of being on this team, students will be asked to commit to working with team members during after school hours and participating in a robotics competition on weekends.  It is important that you understand the need for your student to attend as much as possible and to let the coach know if there is a need for your student to be gone.
